FABRIC OPTIONS

TA is a knitted fabric • it does loose shape with multiple washing
•
Lining the Jacket helps to retain the shape
and hides the often messy back of embroidery.
TA is recommended when the garment has to have some stretch
ie., Tracksuits - Training tops - etc.

•Bonded Microfiber OR Microactive

Bonded Microfiber is a woven wind + water resistant
fabric bonded with an extra layer of fabric.
•
It does retain its shape no matter how often you wash it and is quick dry.
While lining is not necessary, we do recommend body (not sleeves) lining
to hide the often messy back of embroidery,
and give the Jacket a polished finish.

•PoCo (PolyCottonTwill)

This is a very durable fabric.
It retains it's shape no matter how often it gets washed.
It can be treated with stain remover

washed hot (up to 60degrees) if necessary
•
While the garment will retain it's shape without lining,
lining does give it a sophisticated, polished finish and hides
the often messy back of embroidery.

•Softshell

This is a modern and durable fabric with some stretch and
excellent wind resistancy quality.
It does retain it's shape no matter how often it gets washed.
It is quick dry.
We recommend body lining only
to hide the often messy back of embroidery.

•Imitation Suede

This fabric retains it's shape and has excellent wind resistancy qualities.
The imitation Suede is deceptively genuine and makes the Jacket
appear to be real Suede at an affordable price.
Full lining is necessary and gives the Jacket a
sophisticated polished look.
•
An imitation Suede Harrington Jacket
While the style of the Jacket is Casual,
Imitation Suede makes it look Elegant.

•100% Cotton

Cotton is a a •natural •eco-friendly •sustainable Fabric.
Strong, Durable and machine washable.
•
We recommend full lining to give the Jacket a polished finish.
•
Unlike PoCo, 100% Cotton although colour fast,
frequent washing and exposure to the elements,
will give this Jacket character and an awesome,
colour washed, lived in look.

We will NOT replicate any TM Logos such as Captain Morgan,
Johnny Walker, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Blue Bulls, Sharks,
Lions, Adidas, Puma, etc.,

unless you can provide a letter of authorization
from the relevant Company.

Embroidery:
to keep cost reasonable,
choose simple designs and whenever possible outlines only.
Below are some of our designs we offer
at no added artwork generation cost.
While all below listed designs are printable,
embroidery does make the Jackets appear more
sophisticated and will last a long time.

Requires high resolution images
for digitizing.
•
Embroidery cost,
is determined by the amount of stitches (size)
a specific design requires.

Screen-printing:
Generates set up fees per colour.
Requires Vector generated full colour images.
Black and white requires high resolution images.

Heat Transfer (Sublimation)
This method allows for
digital generated images
to be replicated without loss of details.
Requires high resolution vector generated images.

Dye Sublimation:
Dye Sublimation requires a
costly set up. Hence is in some cases,
with low item numbers, expensive.
And not all Fabrics can be Dye Sublimated.
Dye Sublimation can replicate
digital images perfectly without any loss of details.
Dye Sublimation never fades. The process
physically injects ink into the fabric,
hence a dye sublimated image will never
fade nor peel.

On the Jacket:
Keep the front uncluttered Company Team or Club Logo or Initials
and a Name, if not at the back, will keep it neat.
•

Design Tip 1:
While a Design can have as many colours as you like,
too many colours not appearing in your logo or theme
can result in your jacket looking like a "christmas tree"
or a Jacket fit for a Carnival only!
